Goose Creek Roofers is a family-owned roofing company built around a simple idea — most people just want a straight answer about their roof. Not a high-pressure sales presentation. Not a rented-list door-knocker chasing storm claims through a subdivision. Not an out-of-state crew with a magnetic truck sign.
A straight answer. From someone who lives here.
We started because we saw too many Lowcountry homeowners get burned — by inflated insurance scopes, by warranty work that disappeared with the contractor, by “lifetime” shingle installs that lasted seven years because the underlayment was wrong. The bar in our market was low. We set ours higher.
What we believe
Your roof should outlast the next set of bad weather, not get patched until the next named storm. That means doing the spec right the first time — proper underlayment, real flashing, sealed deck, balanced ventilation, manufacturer-approved fasteners. Cutting corners on a Lowcountry roof is just deferring the next callback by a few months.
The person quoting your roof should be on the crew. Big roofing companies separate sales from install. The salesman makes promises; a different crew shows up to make them happen. We work the other way. The estimate, the install, and the final walkthrough are the same team. If we got it wrong, we're accountable.
Honest is faster than oversold.Most repair quotes don't need to become full replacement quotes. Most full replacements don't need to be the top-tier package. We'll tell you what we'd do on our own house.
For the Joint Base Charleston community
We're a short drive from JB Charleston, and we work with a lot of active duty, retired, and DoD-civilian customers — many of them in base housing nearby or in the neighborhoods that surround Goose Creek proper. We know the rhythm of a PCS, the quirk of mid-tour rental management, and the pace at which military families need to make decisions about a roof.
The 10% military discount is automatic and it's real — applied to the total project price, not just labor or a marketing “starting from” figure. Show your ID at the estimate; we apply it on the spot.
Where we work
Our service area centers on Goose Creek but extends through Berkeley County and into northern Charleston County when schedules allow. Crowfield Plantation, Boulder Bluff, Foxborough, Pine Plantation, Liberty Hall, Downtown Goose Creek, Brickhope, Hamlet Square, Devon Forest — those are our bread and butter.
We're also willing to drive a little for Hanahan, Moncks Corner, Summerville, and Mount Pleasant projects when we have the bandwidth. Ask us — we'll be straight about whether the timing works.
What we won’t do
- Sell you a re-roof when a repair would extend your roof another five years.
- Mark up your deductible. The carrier-approved scope is what we work to.
- Subcontract your roof to a crew you've never met. If we're overbooked, we'll schedule you out — not hand you off.
- Push proprietary “exclusive” warranty products that lock you to one contractor for life. Manufacturer warranties are good enough.
